Orlando Area Rowing Society sent six rowers to the Youth Speed Order, and one returned with an invitation to the U19 U.S. Rowing National Team Winter High Performance Camps.
Orlando Area Rowing Society rowers Anna and Maija Andert finished first in the Head of the Hooch among top 19 year olds in the country.
Anna and Maija Andert brought back an A Final seventh place at the USRowing’s Youth National Championship.
The Windermere organization invites all interested in learning about the sport from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 17.
The Orlando Area Rowing Society took home both the Overall Points crown and the Sculling Points trophy at the 27th annual edition of the two-day regatta.
