OARS 8th Grade Competitive Program 2023-2024 Overview

The 8th grade program is designed to be a bridge from middle school to high school rowing.  Rowers will be developing their rowing knowledge base and work together to develop a solid team culture. 8th grade strength & conditioning will focus on functional movement & individual development. On the water, rowers will be given many opportunities to learn to scull, develop their correct technique, and gain significant race experience.

USRowing recently added the U15 and U16  age category to Regional and National competitions. The 8th graders that participate in this program will be the rowers that we select to participate in these categories.
