Sculling lessons are offered at OARS for individuals who would like to learn how to row or fine-tune their current skill set. 

New rowers will learn all the basics from carrying boats to taking your first strokes.  Experienced rowers will get individual coaching.  All  individual lessons take place in a single, double or quad shell.  You may sign up with a friend, sibling, or family member.  Rowers may be in middle school, high school, or adults.  Parents, you  may learn with your children!

Rowers may sign up for sculling lessons throughout the year.   Once you register for lessons, we will contact you to schedule your time & day.  Each lesson is 1 hour of water time. We typically plan 10-15 minutes of time to get equipment in/out.   Rowers must find their own rowing partners (Double/Quad) prior to registering.  The partners must also register before a coach will be assigned to the lesson.
