This summer we will return to a full schedule of OARS camps. If you are new to the sport of rowing, our Learn To Row camps are for you. If you are a current OARS rower, or a rower from a different club or high school team, looking to get back on the water or improve your strength and fitness, we also have camps for you!

Learn To Row is a great chance for High School and Middle School boys and girls to try the sport of rowing for the first time. The aim of Learn to Row is to get rowers on the water as soon as possible. They will learn about safety, both on and off the water, be able to identify boats and equipment, and most importantly learn good rowing technique all while having fun on the water.
This camp runs Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 10:30 am
Cost per session: $160 for your first session and $150 for subsequent sessions
Full - Session 1 - June 7th - June 11th
Full - Session 2 - June 14th - June 18th
Session 3 - June 21st - June 25th
Session 4 - June 28th - July 2nd
Session 5 - July 5th - July 9th
Session 6 - July 12th - July 16th

Excellent training for all of our current High School OARS rowers. If you want to make significant performance gains over this summer, this camp is for you! You may sign up for any number of weeks, but in order to get the full training benefit, it is really suggested that rowers commit to 3+ weeks.
This class runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Cost per class: $50

Class 5 - Week of July 5th
Class 6 - Week of July 12th

Excellent training for all of our current Middle School OARS rowers. This is a great add on to the Middle School Rowing Camp. Send your rower with a lunch for in between the camps
This class runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:45 pm - 2:15 pm

Class 3 - Week of July 12th
Class 4 - Week of July 19th

Offered to all current OARS middle school program rowers who have rowed for at least 1 season and are planning on rowing with either the MSP or High School Program during the school year. This camp will help fine-tune rowing technique & get our rowers on the water!
Rising 9th graders should take this camp as the High School camp is for experienced scullers.
This camp runs Monday through Friday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Cost per week: $85
Week 1 - June 14th - June 18th
Week 2 - June 21st - June 25th
Week 3 - July 12th - July 16th
Week 4 - July 19th - July 23rd
Week 5 - July 26th - July 30th
This camp is offered for high school athletes that have rowed on a high school team for at least 1 year (Rowers from other high schools or teams may attend). The goal is to get on the water and row in small boats. Rowers will make gains in fitness & technique while enjoying being on the lake again. Ultimately allowing them to be in a more competitive position as they enter the fall season.
Rising 9th graders should take the Middle School Rowing camp.
There are 3 sessions of this camp each lasting 2 weeks Monday-Friday from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
